***This role will only suit individuals who have concentrated on senior level BI or Data related Consulting along with Business Development related Sales and with recent experience in selling BI or Data Warehousing or Data Analytical or Big Data type solutions and Managed Services!!
 
 
Our client is an Australian leader in Advanced Business Analytics, BI and Data Warehousing and through further growth, they are now looking to expand into the New Zealand market.
 
Within this role, you will report directly into the Australasian Business Director and your role will be to gradually build the New Zealand market while also offering some support to existing Australian businesses and customers. **Ultimately, you will run initially as a sole player in the market as a team slowly grows around you based upon business doors being opened for BI Consulting and BI Advisory Services.
 
The essential skills that will encourage success in your application are:-
  • Business Networks - existing business networks within NZ (crucial) and a mixture of Sales (40% of role) and Consulting (60% of role) capability.
  • Data Consulting - at least 8yrs expertise in areas such as; Data Warehousing, Data Integration, Master Data Management or Data Reporting and Visualisation.
  • Sales / Business Development - we would expect at least 4 years of IT related sales experience which essentially must include existing experience in selling such services and solutions (not products). 
  • Business Analytics / Intelligence - a solid knowledge of at least one major Analytical tool such as Microsoft Stack, Oracle, SAS, Informatica for example and a proven track record of selling into medium to enterprise level organisations.
  • Other requirements - essentially a firm knowledge of the NZ market so that you can potentially bring existing networks with you, existing capability of selling to high level points of contact such as CEO's and CTO's.
 
** We will be required to gain information from you in relation to how you have been KPI'd or had targets set and thus to how you (and your team where applicable) have achieved against these.
