My client is unique in that everyone in the business works remotely from home. They help hundreds of customers move machinery, general freight, loose bulk, containers, furniture, livestock, dangerous goods, refrigerated cargo and vehicles anywhere in New Zealand using road, rail and coastal shipping solutions.
What will you do?
My client is looking for a driven and self-motivated person to work alongside the IT Manager on front and back end applications. You will be designing and developing solutions for the business as well as trouble shooting current applications.
Your background:
- 4+ years of previous development experience in .Net including C#
- Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript/Jquery
- Exposure to JavaScript frameworks such as Angular/ReactJS
- Working in a previous Agile environment is beneficial
- A positive can do attitude and ability to work independently
- Great customer service and the ability to build rapport
What it's like to work here:
People here love working from home, they are a tight knit team and even though the team all work remotely they meet on a regular basis via Google Hangouts. So you will need to be someone who works well in a small team and is able to communicate effectively.
