Absolute IT are working with a leading and growing organization based in the Waikato who are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join their team. The purpose of this role is to initiate and lead the architecting of a data programme and work to guide the organization to a business-needs defined target state of data architecture.
This will need to be factored in with:
You will also be required to develop and maintain architectural standards and guidelines ensuring standards are known.
Essentials for this role:

Minimum 10 years experience working in the IT industry

Minimum 4 years working as a Data Architect
-
5 years hands on experience working with data mining and large scale data modeling
-
Experience with Web Services (XML, SOAP and UDDI), object orientated programming (.NET, Java and J2EE)

Excellent working knowledge of Data warehousing
-
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
-
Excellent presentation skills
-
TOGAF certified or working towards achieving certification

Excellent understanding of ITIL principles
