Opportunity for an experienced Barista to join a friendly team within a busy Café, based in a vibrant office near the viaduct!

We are currently seeking an experienced Barista to work in a busy café within a shared office space in Auckland CBD starting ASAP for a long term temporary assignment. If you can make great coffee and are able to build rapport instantly, we want to hear from you!

  • Monday - Friday, no weekend hours!
  • $19-21 per hour + 8% holiday pay depending on your experience
  • Office dogs on site

You will be responsible for ensuring the café area is clean and tidy whilst creating a warm and friendly atmosphere for customers.  You will have the opportunity to use your creative side to assist with advertising the café via social media, developing menus and creating weekly specials.

Duties may include but not limited to:

  • Preparing café menu items to a high standard
  • Making exceptional barista coffees
  • Processing payments and cash handling
  • Monitoring stock, processing orders and receiving deliveries

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 2 years + experience within Hospitality
  • Proven experience making exceptional barista coffee
  • Strong customer service and excellent communication skills
  • Hard working and reliable with a high level of initiative
