Regional Sales & Relationship Manager

Develop key client relationships and sales initiatives with NZ's largest recruitment business!

This is a truly unique role, sitting across two of New Zealand’s best known recruitment businesses, Madison and AbsoluteIT, who operate as part of the AWF Madison Group. This role will develop key client relationships and drive strategic sales initiatives across the Auckland region.

With an extensive client network and NZ’s largest recruitment business behind you, this is the opportunity for an experienced recruiter or sales leader to take the next step. As a group, we’re committed to transforming the ideals of traditional recruitment and this role will be an integral part of changing the perception of what services we offer.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute an effective sales plan with a focus on Madison and Absolute IT
  • Build relationships with relevant organisations to obtain tenders and influence proposals
  • Coach internal staff on effective client relationships, business development, and account management
  • Identify growth sectors, and develop a sales strategy to target those sectors
  • Uncover new opportunities and market gaps outside of traditional recruitment
  • Engage existing team in overall sales strategy and process

About you:

You will live and breathe the recruitment industry and be driven by fostering long-lasting partnerships. Your strong commercial acumen and ability to hold strategic conversations at all levels paired with your understanding of the recruitment market will excite you about driving innovative changes across multiple businesses. You must be able to work well autonomously and as part of a team, whilst demonstrating leadership capability while contributing to company culture.

While we’re open to previous work history, your background will ideally include:

  • A proven track record of agency recruitment and sales/business development experience
  • Responding to RFPs and RFIs
  • Training and development of staff
  • Developing sales strategies
